Believe in the Magic of Camp
A Message from our CEO
There are so many good reasons to consider Camp4Kids for your child this summer. I promise it’s well worth the separation anxiety you might feel!
Here are several reasons why children should go to summer camp:
-
Unplug from Technology – When children take a break away from TV, computers, the internet, cell phones, gaming, they re-discover their creative powers and reconnect with the real world again. They realize there is plenty to do outdoors in nature, without being hooked up or plugged in. The outdoor experience will enrich children's perception of the world.
-
When your child goes away to summer camp, you’ll notice a big difference in their self-esteem – They’ll be more confident, less dependent on others. Being away from home gives children the chance to figure out who they are in the world.
-
Being away from home at summer camp will make your child much more independent and self-reliant – You won’t be there to do everything for them, so they’ll have to learn to do more for themselves. Don’t worry! They won’t be on their own.
-
Make new friendships for a lifetime – Camp is the place where kids can meet their very best friends. Free from the social expectations pressuring them at school, camp encourages kids to relax and make friends easily. All the fun at camp draws everyone together— singing, laughing, talking, playing, and doing almost everything together. This is one of the greatest gifts you could ever give your child. A summer of lifetime memories and friendships.
-
Resident summer camp exposes your children to people of all different backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, religions, and races –They might hear new languages, learn new cultural practices, try new foods and hear different types of music. This is incredibly valuable, because as technology brings the world closer together, they’ll be learning how to interact with cultures they’ll be interacting with later in life.
-
Develop life-long skills – Camps provide the right instruction, equipment and facilities for kids to enhance their athletic abilities, their artistic talents, and their adventure skills. The sheer variety of activities offered at camp makes it easy for kids to discover and develop what they like to do.
-
Learn social skills – Coming to camp means joining a close-knit community where everyone must agree to cooperate and respect each other. When they live in a cabin with others, kids share chores, resolve disagreements, and see firsthand the importance of sincere communication. We want them to learn how to think outside - where no box is required. Where honesty and openness is welcome.
Camp4Kids is accredited by the American Camp Association, so we live by a higher standard.
Come join us at Camp4Kids where you will form great friendships and have great adventure that you will remember the rest of your life.
